CAESAR II Piping Input files are always "upward" compatible. Typically Piping Input files are NOT "downward" compatible.

Usually you will obtain the same results when running the same job file on different versions. There are several reasons why you could obtain different results:

1) The CAESAR II Configuration File is different between the two data directories.
2) There has been a change to the applicable Piping Code, so the software is computationally different.
3) We corrected an error.
