After creating and saving an animated plot as HTML file an opening this file in a browser (fire fox in this case) nothing happens.
You can click "play" as many times as you want, noting happens.

Did you allow your machine to download the "plug in control" from Techsoft? If this didn't (or can't) happen, you can't view the HTML animation.

I'm not sure the plug-in actually will load in the FireFox browser. Try looking at it in Internet Explorer; make sure you have permissions to install the plug-in (if it isn't already). If you can see the model, then pressing "Play" should work. You can test the animation by going to <a href=http://www.hoops3d.com/gallery/index.html>http://www.hoops3d.com/gallery/index.html</a> and clicking on the any of the graphics there. I think the one labeled "SolidWorks Engine Assembly" is the best animation, followed by the MSC.Software's "Engine Piston". (Our plant model isn't animated. It's a nice model, though). Once the model appears, right-click it and choose "animation|play"

I can open the animation file in Windows explorer, but not in Firefox. Clicking on the model and then animate, nothing is animated.

So it looks like the TechSoft plug-in doesn't work in Firefox. We'll pass this along to TechSoft, Inc.

This is what we just got back from Techsoft ...

<font color="purple">
Unfortunately firefox isn't supported. There is an activex plugin for firefox, but I've never been able to get it to work. There isn't a hoops3dstream plugin for firefox yet. Hopefully there will be sometime in the future.
</font>

So unfortunately, you will have to use IE until something new gets developed or added by either Mozilla or Techsoft.

The 3D plugin only supports IE for now. There is no support for Mozilla.

This was posted and never answered.
I have the same problem and so does Jeff Roque (Cadworx Salesperson)
I am guessing this is some knid of ActiveX related problem.
Any ideas?
Arthur

Im trying to modify my OPL file, but as soon i click the Material List tab or Iso Style, this error occurs....

"ActiveX component can't create object Error number 429"

and the option editor will quit/exit.

I reinstalled Cadworx, Isogen, but to no avail.
Any help would be appreciated....
Using Autocad2008 with Service Pack 1 and Cadworx Pro 2008 July build....

Arthur,

CADWorx issues and questions should be posted to the "CADWorx Forum". This thread deals with saving CAESAR II animation files and replaying them using the TechSoft 3D Player.

I'll alert the CADWorx Group to your issue.
