By mistake my colleauge changed the system date and used the CaesarII (ver. 5.0). Now we are getting Error# 5100 on the current date.

How can we fix this problem? Please advice.

Restart CAESAR II and click past any error messages. This should leave you on the Main Menu. Pull down the ESL menu and select the option to "Generate Access Codes". E-mail these Codes to "techsupport@coade.com" and state in the e-mail the error code (5100).

When you receive the return e-mail with the reauthorization codes, you'll use the "Enter Reauthorization Codes" option on the ESL menu. This will reset your ESL and you should be fine from there.

COADE is closed for Christmas until Wednesday - Dec 26th. Post your codes here with a return e-mail address.

Here are your reauthorization codes. I'll e-mail them to you also.

Hi, recently I've been getting the error #5100 when compiling my model. I have to restart my machine to begin using Caesar II again.

I haven't emailed my company's IT support yet because I am not familiar with where the problem lies.

As I am able to restart the machine to use Caesar, could it be the company's network or computers that are doing funny things to confuse Caesar?

Actually, I just opened up Caesar successfully without restarting my machine, so it seems to have corrected itself in a short period of time.

Could I be causing this somehow?

That depends on what type (local or network) of ESL you have. It is important that your "time/date" stamp is correct. (It doesn't have to be exact to the second, but it shouldn't be "wrong".)

If the problem happens again, contact "techsupport at coade.com" and include this information:

- CAESAR II Version and Build
- the type of ESL (local or network)
- the fact that you're getting Error 5100
- attach a "log file" with the ESL data.
