The rigid strut manufacturers' catalogues show that the allowable loads are +/-, i.e. load capacity is indicated as tension and compression. When I look at the hardware which connects strut with the structre , I feel that any compressive load will sway the strut and no resistance would be offered. In short it would not act under compression.
ANY FEEDBACKS ?
Regards,
H.S.

Sway Struts work in tension and compression the attached hardware is designed to carry the loads in both modes.

An excellent tool for certain tasks...
