My doubt could be simple but I would like to have your opinion anyway.
Image a piping with displacements in whatever point,I want to modelize the continuation of this pipe incorporing the displacements of the same to the connecting pipe.
My doubt is: What displacememts should I indicate in this point,the ones of operation or the ones of expansion?

In my opinion, you need to forget the displacements in the existing terminal point to continue with additional piping connections. I did it several times by simply assuming that I am extending the system and displacements in the point you described and disregard displacements that may give inaccurate effect to the system.
