I modeled a straight buried pipeline in caesar under hydro test condition, and "code check failed" shown on the reprot.
According to B31.4, there is no detailed limit requirement for the stress of HYD.
But why CAESAR Code compliance checked it, and reported it?And what's the limit ratio for the allowable stress?
why not show "NO CODE COMPLIANCE CHECK DONE"?

FURTHER MORE:
I think the results of HYD condition for underground pipe by CAESAR was wrong, the water and pipe weight was not be balanced by the soil.

The hydrotest allowables in CAESAR II 4.50 (and earlier) are based on the "occasional allowable". This was done because the codes are not consistent in their handling of the hydrotest case. Version 5.00 will change this and use the specific code allowable for each code, where addressed.

The CAESAR II buried pipe modeler zeros all densities, because you are attempting to model a continuous beam on an elastic foundation. For such a model, there will be no weight stresses. The only way to accomplish this with a discretized model is to zero the densities.
