How can we simulate the piping vibration with support gap? And, I wonder if the harmonic analysis allow the gap motion at the support.

CAESAR II dynamic analysis can not handle non-linear supports like gap supports. Take the gap support
configuration at the operating load case; if it is active in this operating load case, then consider with zero gap restraint, otherwise ignore it.
