1. Is it necessary to have a node numbering system as per the flow of the fluid in the piping system. I am doing a static analysis for a condenser piping system which is a closed loop system.

2. When i transfer the model from cadworx to caesar, the node numbering sequence doesn't come as per the flow of the fluid in the system so i want to re-number it. How can i model a numbering system in cadworx as i want it to appear in caesar.

To do the noding as you require you have to do the following:

When the program asks

Provide start location (Yes/No): select Yes

Pick a point: pick a starting point

When it asks again

Pick a point: it has come to an intersection and requires you to pick it up or jump to another one if you wish, so pick an intersection point

then it will ask you again

Pick direction: it now wants you to decide the direction in which you want the noding to proceed

When it finishes with that branch it will ask again

Pick a point: at this stage it is important to go back and pick an intersection from which your last branch started

Following, when it asks

Pick direction: set the other direction for noding to continue

If you experiment with it a little bit you will see that it is a quite convenient method to node the system in any way you want.
