This ability is available in both Versions 4.40 & 4.50 (and later). From the
Static Load Case Editor, click on the
Load Case Options tab. When the dialog displays, move the horizontal slider to the right, to find the
Friction Multiplier column. This multiplier is used directly on the friction coefficient of each restraint. Therefore:
- a value of 1.0 uses the specified value of mu,
- a value of 0.0 eliminates friction,
- a value of 0.75 reduces mu by 25%,
- a value of 1.25 increases mu by 25%.
