PVELITE CALCULATIONS FOR SKIRT

Hi Everyone,

I have a query regarding the calcs. PV. does for Skirts. I know it performs the EN 13445 calcs. What I want to know is if in addition to those calcs. it calculates the followings:

1) Shell local stress analysis at compression ring junction?
2) Shell local stress analy. at base ring junction?

In the local stress analysis I am assuming it takes into account the wind/seismic moments at those junctions? Am I correct?

Any help would be appreciated.

2. Brownell and young.

Pv elite is using this formula also.

And yes wind and seismic which is governing will be used to calculate stresses in bolt.
