I found out that par. 2-14 of 2008 addenda gives a couple of criteria that allow NOT to consider flange rigidity index.

Design pressure < 150 PSI
AND
non lethal service
AND
Design temperature >-29°C
AND
Design temperatura <186°C

Would it be possible to include these exceptions into pvelite, so that a flange calculated under this hypotesis is not highlighted with the usual warning, saying that "rigidity has been turned off"?

Thanks and best regards
Federico

Hello Federico

That is possible. But if you send the report to MS Word, the red warning can be deleted or edited.
