HI
I have been read peng, handbook and threads in this forum about bourdon effects but I have some doubts and questions yet.
1- Is it necessary for a FRP pipe between an anchor and a nozzle to include bourdon effect?(But we know that a pipe between an anchor and a nozzle is not a pipe with end cap)
2- In Which load cases should be turned on bourdon effect?
3- Why does in CAESAR II each segment of pipe consider with end cap? but this is not reality because each segment may be shortened because of poisson ratio(e.g Suppose a "straight" pipe between 4 anchors that doesn't have bends)
